Long service life: Long service life in engineering applications.
Uniaxial geogrid is a polymer geosynthetic reinforcement material formed by stretching in only one direction. It is mainly used in subgrade, retaining wall, slope and other projects requiring high unidirectional strength.
Performance
Uniaxial geogrid has the following properties:
- High Unidirectional Strength: High tensile strength in a single direction, effectively bearing large tension and improving soil capacity.
- Good Creep Resistance: Small deformation under long-term load, stable structure, no obvious late tensile deformation.
- Aging & Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to acid, alkali, UV and microbial corrosion, suitable for complex environments.
- Strong Interlocking Capacity: Closely interlocks with soil and sand, limits displacement, and provides obvious reinforcement.
- Convenient Construction: Light, easy to cut and lay, simple overlapping, greatly improving construction efficiency.
Application
Uniaxial geogrid has the following applications:
- Roadbed Reinforcement: Used in highway and railway subgrades to improve stability and reduce settlement and cracking.
- Retaining Wall Reinforcement: Applied in reinforced soil walls to enhance strength and anti-overturning performance.
- Slope Protection: Reinforces embankment and mountain slopes to prevent landslide, collapse and soil erosion.
- Soft Soil Foundation Treatment: Improves bearing capacity, accelerates consolidation, and reduces later foundation settlement.
- Dam Reinforcement: Used in reservoirs and river dams to enhance structural strength and resist water erosion.
